Sherry is now in room 721 on the 7th floor. This is a critical care unit, they are using this as a overflow area. Sherry will still get the one on one care and they will move her to her own room as soon as one comes available. We have told Sherry about this web site and about all the love felt messages that were left for her. Mary and i truly appreciate your prayers and kind words. Thanks!

Sherry,
ReplyDeleteI don't think you can fathom how many people are sending thoughts and prayers your way...There are people that you have had an impact on that you probably don't even know. I spent most of the day talking to students and I now realize the effects you can have on people without even knowing it. Kids that you helped play basketball, showing a kind gesture to someone even when you didn't even think about it, being a good listener when someone needed it...I can go on, but I just want you to know that everyone is rooting for you! You have so many goals and things to look forward to. You have experienced a setback, but I know that this will make you stronger! I'm sure that your wishes to be in the medical field take on a whole new meaning now! Okay, I just realized I need to write a separate letter cuz this is just too long, so expect a card and note from me. Love ya and you are doing amazing!!!!!!!
PS - Your pictures are beautiful on this site and I expect you to give me a copy of one! :)

I am SO glad to hear of your continued recovery. Your inner strength has been apparent to me in the short time I've known you. Can't wait to see your smiling face again. Take care & heal quickly.

If there is Anything I could do from my end please let me know :-)..I know I don't have you for science..but I can work on that :-)

Mr. Hurley
I just thought you might like to know whats happening here in Bradford while you are gone. The truth is that everyone has really bonded together and the school will definitely come out stronger because of this and I know you will be stronger as well. Remember to have a little spunk, and next time I see you I promise I will owe you a hug. If anyone needs anything, dylan, amanda, pat, or anyone that has been impacted just let me know. Thinking of you

Sherry,
ReplyDeleteAs you can tell from all the posts, we all miss you so much and can't wait til' you have fully recovered and are back at school with your 'family'. It's great to hear that you're recovering so quickly; keep fighting hard, you're a strong, amazing girl and I know you'll be out of there in no time. I hope to get to see you sometime this week if, and when, you're moved out of the ICU. As Zack said above the school has really bonded together and grown because of you and your amazingness lol =). You have all of our support, and we'll always be here for you. If any of you guys need anything, Mr./ Mrs. O'dell, Amanda, Pat, Dylan, and especially you Sherry, do not hesitate to ask. My family and I are more then willing to help with anything you guys need. You'll be in my thoughts constantly til' you're back sitting next to me in math again picking on me for being short lol =)
Thinking of you,
Bradly

Carol (ballard) Perkins and Family
Good morning, O'Dell family.
ReplyDeleteI hope you've all been able to get a little rest.
I'm just sitting here thinking about Sherry and her study hall peers and missing Sherry's voice yelling "BS!" as they play cards. They haven't been playing without her so it's been pretty quiet around here:)
Maybe Sherry would like to know that today is our final, final, final yearbook deadline and, by the end of the day, all our pages will be sent in and it will be done! We'll wait until she gets back to have our celebration, especially since she has done so much to help get it done.
Please let her know we all miss her.
Much love and more prayers,
Mrs. Campbell
PS - Hello to any Fullers and Blencowes that may be there as well. We miss you too!
I pray for a fast recovery!! By the way... I haven't seen Sherry since I graduated in '04, and the pictures are BEAUTIFUL!! You're all grown up! Stay strong and keep smiling!
